We have developed an inbox analyzer tool to identify patterns of conversations and trends in our emails. As a part of this analysis, we want to find out some key things from our inboxes -
- Identify trends - Find out top senders and top conversations
- Sort and Tag - Pick out important senders and conversations
- Standardize - Convert email based processes into structured ones
In this blog we will look at how to identify trends and analyze our inbox.
In the consumer version of the analyzer - Gmail Analyzer, you can login to your gmail or google apps accounts and view the reports of your top senders, up-to the past six months. This tool does not store any information and simply analyzes your inbox. You can also see a break down of the size of emails you have received from these senders.
You can view your own inbox report by going - here
In part two of this blog we will look at how to use the Inbox Analyzer to sort and tag emails so you can automatically categories your emails for bills, invoices, receipts etc. in a more efficient way.
